- The objective of the consultancyis to support the Government of Mexico, and the MDBs in coordinating andpreparing Mexico-s IP under the CIF-IDP, ensuring that the document reflects astrategic, integrated, innovative and transformative vision for thedecarbonization of the national industry. To ensure the successful development of the IP, the consultant shouldalign with Mexico-s strategic priorities and the CIF criteria and ensure that theprocess emphasizes profitability and the scalability of concessional resourcesprovided by CIF. This collaborative approach will help guarantee that the IP isboth transformative and financially sustainable, while fully supportingMexico-s long-term decarbonization goals. The consulting firm isexpected to report and deploy all efforts in agreement with the coordinatingMDBs, and work in close collaboration with the participating MDBs, the assignedfocal points of the Government, and key stakeholders in the industrial sector,promoting a participatory and transparent process for the development of the IP.
