- Based on the acquired experience, UNICEF Mexico seeks to develop a booklet of emergency activities that integrates a broader range of key messages, in addition to those related to Wash, along with its implementation guide. This new material will include content on: (1) Wash: Healthy environment, hygiene and menstrual health; (2) Protection: Emotional management in emergencies, prevention of sexual violence and prevention of family separation; (3) Nutrition: Proper food management in emergency contexts; (4) Health: Prevention of diseases transmitted by vectors, gastrointestinal and respiratory; and (5) Preparation for emergencies: prevention strategies and action plans. The objective is to offer an integral tool that strengthens child resilience and promotes physical, emotional and social well -being in crisis contexts.
